About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering complex, cross-functional projects in an Agile/Scrum setting. You will work closely with stakeholders to navigate ambiguity and drive consensus. Your exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills will enable you to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initiation to delivery
- Write reports and provide insights to stakeholders
- Lead meetings and facilitate collaboration among team members
- Develop user-story maps, process models, and wireframing tools
- Integrate APIs, perform data mapping, and analyze system architecture concepts
Requirements
- 4 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment
- 2 years specifically within fintech, mobile money, or financial services
- Proficiency with JIRA (or equivalent Agile tools)
- Experience with user-story mapping, process modeling, and wireframing tools
- Familiarity with API integrations, data mapping, and system architecture concepts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM)
