About the Role
The Senior Credit Controller role at Tower Group is a critical position that requires exceptional credit management skills and experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring 100% of all KPI targets are met in line with C&R policies, managing high-volume government accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% of all KPI targets are met in line with C&R policies.
- Minimize bad debt.
- Ensure query resolution.
- Follow up on non-payments.
- Liaise with 3rd parties to resolve account disputes involving meetings and negotiation with CEOs, FMs, IT Managers.
- Send out monthly billing and reports timeously.
- Manage speedy dispute resolution.
- Daily coding of the bank statement.
- Maintain and continue building relationships with customers.
- Attend client meetings when required.
- Ensure that all collection targets and KPIs are met.
- Allocate client payments.
- Risk management.
- Approval of new business for existing clients.
Requirements
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Work experience.
- Government accounts with high volumes is a must-have.
Qualifications
- Matric – essential.
- Diploma in Credit Management would be an advantage.
