About the Role
Liham Consulting Pty (Ltd) is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Technician to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical equipment at various sites throughout the country. Your expertise in electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance will be crucial in delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Travelling to sites throughout the country for installations and servicing of equipment.
- Ensuring wiring and installations are all in line with applicable standards.
- Carrying out repairs of UPSs and Inverters.
- Pre-installation: Carrying out on-site assessments of potential solar installations, UPS installations, other electrical installations to determine detailed scope of work.
- Fostering and improving customer relationships and internal relationships.
- Assisting in upholding installation and workmanship standards as laid down by procedure.
- Complying with all rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Company.
- Conducting COCs and take full responsibility of your role as an Electrician, as regulated
- Ensuring that all jobs, projects or calls are delivered within scope, time, cost and quality to meet customer needs and requirements.
- Abiding by all Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum N4 – N6 National Diploma.
- Qualified Installation Electrician with Wiremans License (non-negotiable).
- Minimum 5 Years work experience.
- Valid Drivers License.
- PV Greencard (advantageous).
- Experience in installation and support of UPS systems .
- Working at Heights training (advantageous).
- Experience in installation of Solar PV solutions (Residential and Commercial).
Qualifications
- Qualified Installation Electrician with Wiremans License.
Salary & Benefits
