About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Experience Designer to join our team as a contract professional. As a key member of our UX/UI design team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of user experience and design processes across our digital projects in the financial services sector. Your expertise in designing intuitive, customer-facing platforms will be instrumental in driving business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to gather and evaluate user and business requirements
- Translate insights and requirements into intuitive, usable interfaces
- Create wireframes, user flows, process flows, sitemaps, prototypes, and associated specifications
- Execute visual design from concept through to final development hand-off
- Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and performance best practices are met
- Present product solutions and design artefacts to internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate UX workshops
- Partner closely with developers and BAs to solve UX challenges and provide UX reviews of work in progress
- Conduct front-end build reviews, device testing, and analysis
Requirements
- 46 years relevant industry experience (UX/UI/Interaction Design)
- Exposure to data-intensive domains with complex business applications and processes
- Experience working in consultancy or project-based environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with natural curiosity for how systems function
- Ability to work independently through ambiguity with minimal oversight
- Comfortable managing multiple projects or moving parts simultaneously
Qualifications
Degree in Communication Design or Interaction Design (Preferred)
