Job Description

Assisting the department to implement, improve and maintain policies and procedures.

Responsible for lender and donor reporting and governance in accordance with their covenants and agreements.

Responsible for Loan Capital and Grant Management

Annual Budgeting and Forecasting.

Will be responsible for preparing the organization for the external audit, including preparing all documents, reports and analyses that the external auditors will require, including all IFRS calculations and statements/reports.

Providing strong strategic leadership to their finance team.

Maintaining a comprehensive filing system or record keeping for ease of access and retrieval.

Ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal policies systems and procedures.

Managing the day-to-day transactional relationships with all banks; optimize use of bank accounts.

Qualification & Skills:

Post Graduate Degree in Finance/Accounting

Must have a minimum of five years experience in an accounting

Must have a minimum 3 year’s management position

Must have advanced Excel Skills (Non – Negotiable)
