About the Role
Liham Consulting Pty (Ltd) is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the finance team, ensuring compliance with IFRS and tax regulations, and maintaining a comprehensive filing system.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the department to implement, improve and maintain policies and procedures.
- Responsible for lender and donor reporting and governance in accordance with their covenants and agreements.
- Responsible for Loan Capital and Grant Management.
- Annual Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Preparing the organization for the external audit, including preparing all documents, reports and analyses that the external auditors will require, including all IFRS calculations and statements/reports.
- Maintaining a comprehensive filing system or record keeping for ease of access and retrieval.
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal policies systems and procedures.
- Managing the day-to-day transactional relationships with all banks; optimizing use of bank accounts.
Requirements
- Post Graduate Degree in Finance/Accounting
- Minimum 5 years experience in an accounting role
- Minimum 3 years management position
- Advanced Excel Skills (Non-Negotiable)
