About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager, Logistics to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving personal sales performance, securing new business, and building key relationships with C-level executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Conduct high-level sales presentations
- Negotiate high-value contracts
- Develop strategic account plans
- Set KPIs and monitor team performance
- Conduct pipeline reviews and performance evaluations
- Ensure CRM discipline and reporting accuracy
- Develop sales strategies to grow market share
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity
- Prepare forecasts and revenue projections
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience within the Logistics / Freight Forwarding / Contract Logistics industry
- Proven track record in global tenders and large corporate accounts
- Previous sales team management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, road freight, warehousing and supply chain services
- Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel
