About the Role
Our client, a respected leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Manager: Product Performance Analysis & Costing to lead a team of analysts and drive financial modelling, product performance analysis, costing optimisation, and strategic insights that support executive decision–making. This role offers extensive collaboration with finance, operations, BI teams, auditors, and fund committees, along with industry–leading exposure to complex analytics, strong executive support, and the opportunity to develop and guide an analytics team.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial and pricing models for value–added products
- Analyse product performance and present insights for financial and management reporting
- Manage and update the analytics database and SQL models
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts
- Drive automation of monthly reporting processes
- Conduct claims experience analysis and assess economic pricing factors
- Prepare budgets and support external auditors and fund valuators
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Economics or any quantitative field with advanced Excel and strong SQL/Python/R skills
- 5 years analytics experience with proven management capability
- Financial services or insurance exposure advantageous
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
- Highly analytical, detail–oriented, able to work independently under pressure
Qualifications
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Economics or any quantitative field
- Advanced Excel and strong SQL/Python/R skills
