Apply the Site Management System in alignment with ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) Ensure that on-site activities, lab tests, and designs comply with specifications, relevant codes and standards, and HSE regulations Analysis of Lab test result including DTP tests Enforce strict adherence to safety, security, and environmental protection measures throughout construction Evaluate and oversee the performance of testing equipment to detect deficiencies before quality issues arise Oversee and manage site acceptance control procedures Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all relevant documentation Assist the Engineers Representative (Resident Engineer) and Client in delivering the project on time, meeting both technical and quality standards Provide technical input for progress reports related to all ongoing site activities 18 months contract Night work – Night allowance Skills & Experience: Minimum 10-20 experience in the Materials Field Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential for effective reporting and documentation In-depth understanding of specifications and Bills of Quantities, including COLTO/COTO, SANS 1200, and project-specific requirements Prior experience serving as a Senior Materials Technician (SMT) on SANRAL projects is a key requirement Professional registration is advantageous Qualification: B.Tech/NDip in Civil Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
