Job Summary
SERVICE DEPT MANAGER (Brand Supermarket)
East Rand – Gauteng
Salary:
R15,000 – R19,000
The role involves ensuring efficient and positive customer service, while also managing the department`s operations and staff to maximize sales and profitability. This includes tasks like maintaining inventory, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring food safety compliance. also play a crucial role in staff management, training, and performance evaluation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric Certificate.
- Min 2-3 years of Experience with SPAR retail or supermarket operations with leadership skills.
- Customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
- Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems.
- Own Transport, Valid Driver`s License.
- Experience in departments. Namely: Fruit and Veg, Bakery, Butchery, and Hot Foods
- Knowledge of numeric G.Ps, and KPI.
DUTIES:
- Budgets being maintained
- Costings checking and calculations
- The ordering process and when needed.
- Production schedules are adherent.
- Managing staff, department and floor.
- Safety maintenance for customers and staff.
