Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s client is looking for a Shipping and Logistics Administrator to join their team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have experience in the distribution industry.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule shipments of goods to customers and suppliers
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure they arrive on time and in good condition
- Prepare shipping documents and ensure they are accurate and complete
- Communicate with carriers and suppliers to ensure smooth transportation of goods
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and logistics activities
- Assist with inventory management and stock control
- Resolve any shipping or logistics issues that may arise in a timely manner
- Provide support to the Distribution Manager as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shipping and Logistics Administrator or similar role in the distribution industry
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and shipping software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and international trade practices
- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
