Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education: Nearly or newly qualified actuary (ASSA)
• Experience: Prior experience in short-term insurance pricing is essential
• Skills:
   
  – Strong understanding of actuarial principles and statistical methods
   
  – Familiarity with traditional pricing techniques (e.g., GLMs)
   
  – Proficiency in R, Python, or similar programming language
   
  – Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
   
  – Interest in AI and machine learning applications in insurance
• Preferred:
   
  – Experience with machine learning techniques and data visualization
   
  – Knowledge of regulatory requirements for insurance pricing models
   
  – Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms
