Job Description

To operate an automized plant to achieve the production of quality products, maximum production output and minimal waste. Identifying production line issues and rectify accordingly by using advanced electrical skill and mechanical skills where required.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operations and monitoring of a highly automated plant
  • Adjust settings on the plant to achieve high quality and consistent smooth production
  • Analyze and do fault finding to ensure all machinery has maximum up time and is fully optimized to achieve maximum output.
  • Resolving of technical problems by creating alternative solutions and applying specialized techniques in order to decrease losses due to line stoppages.
  • Ensures the production performance of the plant is in accordance with set objectives
  • Maintain and repair the production lines mechanically and electrically with a proper maintenance plan for continuous production
  • Ensure a high manufacturing standard through preventative maintenance
  • Ensure that quality standards are adhered to fully
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety requirements in the plant
  • The efficient management of shift team ( max 8 employees )
  • Lead, motivate and develop a sustainable team for the future

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • A relevant National N4 Diploma as Millwright Electrical and Mechanical
  • Millwright trade test
  • 4 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 8 years experience as qualified millwright
  • Good People Management Skills
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Process control, instrumentation and automation experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Shift Work

Offer

  • TCTC Monthly Salary R40 000.00 to R55 000.00 pending on experience
  • Key performance Incentive R 10 000.00 monthly
