Job Summary
Our client is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Key Accounts Manager based in either KwaZulu-Natal or Johannesburg. This is a critical role focused on managing key client relationships within the coal mining and trading space, as well as driving growth through strategic partnerships and deal execution.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow existing key accounts within the mining and coal trading sector.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with reputable coal buyers and suppliers.
- Identify and engage with traceable coal traders and suppliers to secure consistent product availability.
- Drive business development activities across the mining value chain, targeting new clients and partners.
- Negotiate and close high-value trading deals with credible and verified entities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain the highest standards of integrity in all transactions.
- Provide market insights and trend analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align operational execution with client requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the mining sector, specifically in coal trading.
- A strong network of traceable and reputable coal suppliers and buyers.
- Demonstrated success in a trading role, with verifiable references.
- In-depth understanding of the coal value chain, logistics, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Based in KZN or Johannesburg.
- Available to start immediately.
