Responsible for maintaining and repairing tyre production machinery, including fabrication and breakdown response. Ensures safety compliance, monitors equipment integrity, and performs manual tasks in varied conditions. Supports operational continuity through accurate reporting and additional duties as assigned by the manager.Key Responsibilities:Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on tyre production machines.Diagnose and repair breakdowns swiftly to minimize downtime.Carry out clamping, tack-welding, heat bending, grinding, and bolting of machinery components.Follow essential safety standards such as personal protective equipment (PPE) use.Promote good housekeeping to maintain a safe workplace.Monitor welding for defects like warping, distortion, or burningensuring structural integrityNotify supervisors of faulty materials or equipment.Track repairs, part replacements, and quality inspections.Perform a range of manual duties including lifting, climbing, squatting, and working in varied environmental conditions within the facility as well as any other duties as may be required by the manager.Weekend work required to do preventative maintenance when plant is shut down. Day off will be during the week.Position available immediately.
