With large-scale operations and multiple stock categories managed nationwide, this company is looking for a Stock Controller who can play a vital role in maintaining stock levels and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Role Overview As a Stock Controller, you will oversee and manage all aspects of stock control from ordering and receiving to maintaining optimum stock levels. You will work across various stock categories such as packaging, uniforms, parcel lockers, and sorter & locker spares. This role requires strong analytical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication with suppliers. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate stock levels across multiple categories (packaging, uniforms, parcel lockers, sorter & spares). Conduct regular stock audits, including spot checks and cycle counts. Place orders based on consumption trends and projected business needs. Receive and inspect incoming stock to ensure quality and accuracy. Maintain professional communication with suppliers regarding orders, delays, or discrepancies. Record all stock movements and transactions accurately using the Titan POS system. Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock and recommend corrective actions. Generate reports and provide insights to management using Microsoft Excel. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements. Collaborate with internal departments to forecast and fulfil stock requirements. Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 10 years proven experience in stock control (preferably in logistics/courier industry). Proficient in Titan Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, dashboards). Strong organisational and planning ability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and problem-solving capability. Experience in a high-volume, fast-moving environment. Matric (Grade 12); formal qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Inventory Management are advantageous. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of stock control methodologies and best practices. Proficiency in inventory systems (especially Titan POS). Analytical mindset with ability to interpret stock trends and make data-driven decisions. Knowledge of compliance, auditing, and reconciliation procedures. Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple demands in a high-pressure environment. Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. High integrity and accountability in handling stock and company assets. As Voorraadbeheerder kry jy die geleentheid om n sleutelrol te speel in die instandhouding van voorraadvlakke en die gladde funksionering van die organisasie. Rol Oorsig As Voorraadbeheerder is jy verantwoordelik vir die toesig en bestuur van alle voorraadbeheerprosesse vanaf bestellings en ontvangs tot die instandhouding van optimale voorraadvlakke. Jy sal werk met uiteenlopende voorraadsoorte soos verpakking, uniforms, stoor- en sorteeronderdele. Hierdie rol vereis sterk analitiese vaardighede, akkuraatheid en doeltreffende kommunikasie met verskaffers. Sleutel Verantwoordelikhede Bestuur en handhaaf akkurate voorraadvlakke oor verskeie kategorieë (verpakking, uniforms, parcel lockers, sorter & spares). Voer gereelde voorraadouditte, spotchecks en siklustellings uit. Plaas bestellings gebaseer op verbruikspatrone en toekomstige behoeftes. Ontvang en inspekteer voorraad om akkuraatheid en kwaliteit te verseker. Handhaaf professionele kommunikasie met verskaffers rakende bestellings, vertragings of afwykings. Dokumenteer alle voorraadbewegings en transaksies akkuraat op die Titan POS-stelsel. Monitor stadig-bewegende, verouderde of beskadigde voorraad en stel regstellende aksies voor. Skep verslae en voorsien insigte aan bestuur met behulp van Microsoft Excel. Verseker nakoming van interne kontroles, beleide en ouditvereistes. Werk saam met interne departemente om voorraadbehoeftes te voorsien en te beplan. Vereistes & Kwalifikasies Minimum 10 jaar ervaring in voorraadbeheer (verkieslik in logistiek/koerieromgewing). Ervaring met Titan Point-of-Sale (POS) stelsel. Gevorderde vaardigheid in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, dashboards). Sterk organisatoriese en beplanningsvaardighede. Uitstekende geskrewe en verbale kommunikasievaardighede. Hoë aandag aan detail en probleemoplossingsvermoë. Ervaring in n hoë-volume, vinnig-bewegende omgewing. Matriek (Graad 12); formele kwalifikasie in Supply Chain/Logistieke- of Voorraadbeheer is n voordeel. Vaardighede & Bevoegdhede Uitstekende kennis van voorraadbeheer-metodologieë en beste praktyke. Proefkunde in voorraadstelsels (veral Titan POS). Sterk analitiese ingesteldheid en die vermoë om voorraadneigings te interpreteer. Vaardigheid in ouditering, nakoming en voorraadrekonsiliasies. Onderhandelingsvermoë en professionele bestuur van verskafferverhoudings. Aandag aan detail en die vermoë om take te prioritiseer in n vinnige omgewing. Verbintenis tot voortdurende verbetering en operasionele uitnemendheid. Integriteit en betroubaarheid in die hantering van voorraad en maatskappybates.
