Johannesburg: Supply Chain Coordinator posted by Hire Resolve

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in the manufacturing industry in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor the supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
• Manage inventory levels and work closely with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Track and analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvement
• Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities
• Co-ordinate and maintain the replenishment schedule, analyze the schedule by doing what if scenarios, and report on progress
• Track shipments and report daily on timelines
• Manage Export and Import documentation
• Permit applications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field
• 3+ years operational experience in a FMCG production environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of logistics and procurement processes
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
• CPIM / CSCA will be an advantage
• Sound understanding and knowledge of MRP / MPS logic
