Job Description
This is a high-impact role for a technically minded professional with solid experience in filtration, process equipment, or mineral processing, and the drive to expand market presence beyond borders.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales within filtration, process, or industrial equipment sectors
Strong knowledge of liquid-solid separation, filter press systems, or dust filtration
Proven success managing accounts across mining, refining, and industrial plants
Experience in cross-border trade and export sales within Southern or Sub-Saharan Africa
Valid passport, driver’s licence, and willingness to travel frequently
Strong business acumen and communication skills
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Drive new business and manage key accounts across Southern Africa and neighbouring regions
- Conduct on-site technical assessments and recommend fit-for-purpose filtration solutions
- Prepare and negotiate technical quotations and tenders
- Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Build and maintain relationships with end-users, distributors, and project houses
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional opportunities
- Represent the company at international trade shows, site visits, and technical events
