Qualifications Matric Requirements 3 years experience supervising teams (preferably in yard/industrial/operations environment) Basic computer/administration ability (job cards, reporting, checklists). Duties Lead, supervise, and direct daily activities of assigned yard staff. Enforce discipline, punctuality, and performance expectations. Address difficult behavior calmly and confidently, without intimidation. Conduct daily toolbox talks and allocate tasks clearly. Monitor staff output and intervene where performance drops. Plan upcoming tasks in advance (loading, offloading, cutting, sorting, movements). Anticipate bottlenecks, material access issues, and equipment requirements. Enforce all safety rules, PPE requirements, and yard protocols

Minimum Requirements: Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Yard Supervisor in the Steel Industry Relevant Tertiary Education required Proficient in MS Office essential Strong leadership and people-management skills will be beneficial Valid Driver’s License and own Transport required Contactable references and payslips required Salary Structure: Basic Salary of between R 10 000 and R 15 000 negotiable based on experience Benefits (Only suitable candidates will be shortlisted and contacted within 14 days)
