Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team in Centurion. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will assist in managing cost management and quantity surveying for construction projects. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in quantity surveying and gain valuable experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, cost plans, and budget tracking for construction projects
- Support in managing quantity surveying tasks on construction projects
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely project delivery
- Identify project risks and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and industry standards
- Provide support to senior quantity surveyors as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Must come from Engineering/Mining field
- Proficiency on WINQS and DMX
- Consulting/Construction experience is a bonus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
- Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quantity surveying or a similar role
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (such as WinQS, Candy, or BuildSmart)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing measurements and calculations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
