About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Kathu, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, particularly in mining environments, and be able to provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural design and analysis for mining-related infrastructure
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
- Review drawings and technical documentation
- Provide technical support to construction and project teams
- Identify and resolve structural issues on-site
- Ensure all work aligns with applicable industry standards and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in structural engineering within a mining environment
- Strong knowledge of structural design, analysis, and site execution
- Experience working on mining infrastructure such as foundations, steel structures, and related facilities
