About the Role
The National Coffee Manager will be responsible for driving national expansion, leading sales initiatives, and building strong client relationships to achieve business targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to manage divisional budgets, monitor spend, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive national expansion by identifying new market opportunities and increasing coffee sales
- Lead sales initiatives and collaborate with regional teams to achieve targets
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, negotiate agreements, and ensure service excellence
- Implement and uphold quality standards across coffee products, equipment, and service delivery
- Develop and deliver training programmes and workshops for technicians and regional teams
- Provide technical guidance and support related to coffee equipment and operations
- Oversee inventory planning and stock optimisation to meet demand and SLAs
- Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform strategy
- Manage divisional budgets, monitor spend, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Drive customer experience initiatives and resolve service issues effectively
- Ensure KPIs and contractual SLAs are consistently achieved across all regions
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and other internal teams to align business strategy
Requirements
- Matric (relevant qualification advantageous)
- 8 –10 years’ technical experience in the coffee industry
- Experience developing and executing sales strategies
- Strong knowledge of coffee equipment, service standards, and training delivery
- Intermediate MS Office skills
