Hire Resolves client in the manufacturing industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Quality Inspector in Kempton Park, Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.

• Use precision measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances.

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure product compliance.

• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records.

• Report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Ensure that all outgoing products meet customer quality standards.

• Liaise with customers during audits or quality-related visits, representing the company professionally.

• Support internal and external audits as needed.

• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards and procedures.

• Promote continuous improvement in production and quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a manufacturing quality control/inspection role (preferably tubing, metal fabrication, or similar).

• Experience with steel or piping.

• Strong knowledge of measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Good verbal and written communication skills, especially in customer-facing situations.

• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

• Must have own, reliable transport.

• Matric (Grade 12) a technical qualification or trade certificate would be an advantage.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems preferred.

• Willing to work shifts or overtime when required.
