Purpose:The Foreman coordinates on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. The role supervises personnel, monitors progress, and ensures compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily activities of workers and subcontractors.Ensure kerbing, paving, and civil works meet design and quality standards.Plan work schedules, allocate tasks, and manage labour/equipment efficiently.Conduct site inspections, enforce safety protocols, and maintain accurate records.Report delays, incidents, and resource issues to management.Provide guidance and training to site workers; keep the site organized.Attend site meetings and support project planning.Requirements:Matric / Grade 12; National Certificate/Diploma in Construction or Civil Engineering advantageous.35 years experience supervising construction teams, particularly in kerbing/paving.Knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, and OHS regulations.Valid drivers license.Skills & Attributes:Leadership, communication, problem-solving, time management, attention to detail, reliability, team orientation, physical fitness, and strong work ethic.
