Overview: Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking to employ a HR and HS Coordinator.

Minimum

Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric A qualification in HR or relevant 6 years’ experience in the manufacturing sector HR and Payroll experience HR administration and employee relations experience Must have Pastel

Responsibilities:

General & Meetings Daily HR Check in/employee absenteeism Daily Management Review Dashboard update HR & Payroll Weekly Time sheets Clock machine corrections- miss punches Wages spreadsheet Leave forms capture and filing Reporting new employee banking details Manhours record keeping Capture individual hours op payroll system Pay slips fold and handout Managing the Clock system Monthly employees Clock sheets and attendance records Monthly employees travel expenses forms to Finance dep Leave forms of monthly employees to accountant Record keeping of working hours and leave taken for the enhancement pay in Dec HR Administration Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and completeness. Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Document and arrangements for a disciplinary hearing Dismissal documents Attend all CCMA cases. HR Organogram. Recruiting New employee`s contracts and training documentation Handle employee inquiries and provide information and guidance on HR-related matters. Disciplinary codes for new employees Assist in performance management processes, including conducting employee evaluations and providing feedback. Order all PPE (Overalls, Safety boots, t-shirts) Yes Programme Communication between the company and Yes program Induction training and documentation of Yes program candidates PPE for Yes program candidates Clock time sheets and attendance registers Provident Fund Monthly submission contribution to MIBFA All documents filled and submitted as needed. Policies and Employment Handbook HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Health and Safety Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents, including injuries, illnesses, and near misses, and prepare reports for management review. Coordinate safety training (Forklift and medical) programs for employees on topics such as emergency response, hazard communication, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing reports. Monitor and track safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, maintaining documentation, and preparing presentations. Fire drills Risk assessment Handle emergencies – take incident employees to hospital Submit all workman`s compensation reports to dept of labour Skills and Development Skills and Development Matrix Identify Training Authorisation Receive quotes Book and Schedule different training sessions Follow up with employees on training performances Skills and Development submissions to MERSETA preparations Employment Equity Employment Equity declaration to Department of Labour preparations for submissions Employment Equity meetings and discussions PWUSA Schedule meetings Take minutes Communication person Consumables Grocery list – Makro PPE requirements Cleaning materials Packaging – non-refundable Department of Labour Department of Labour audits VDA Assist Quality engineer with filing VDA ISO Requirements Management Review Performance evaluation processes – objectives and targets in HR Document control and Record keeping
