Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior or Trails Guide for a luxury private game lodge based near Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal. Preference will be given to candidates with Trails Guide qualifications. This is a fantastic opportunity for a guide looking to advance their career in an established, professional environment.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified with all relevant documentation as per standard guiding applications

• Trails qualifications are a strong advantage

• Valid PDP and FGASA certification

• First Aid Certificate

• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting two safari drives per day and additional activities as per guest bookings

• Hosting guests in the evenings on a rotational basis

• Escorting guests to and from rooms (as the camp is unfenced)

• Monthly stock takes and inventory management

• General vehicle upkeep and maintenance

• Assisting with lodge maintenance and operational support where needed

• Ensuring issued equipment such as spotlights and hot boxes are well maintained
