Qualified Fitter & Turner/ Maintenance Fitter/ Toolmaker required for a well-established Lanseria-based manufacturing companyMinimum Requirements:Qualified: Fitter and Turner/ Maintenance Fitter/ Tool Jig & Die Maker or equivalent5 years of relevant experienceThe responsibilities would be fitting and turning, maintenance, basic toolmaking.Previous experience in a metal processing environment & roll forming will be advantageousUnderstanding of the manufacturing processes & Lean manufacturingRelevant Technical QualificationCandidate needs to be Self-motivated, able to work independently & in a team environment with a results-driven mindsetBasic knowledge of CNC machineryResponsibilities:Press tool maintenance, sharpening & repairSupport new project tooling from commissioning stages to start of productionAssisting & overseeing production run setupsOverseeing that quality standards are maintainedToolmaker & general machining techniques.Fabricate parts using conventional lathe, milling machinesRoll Former & Tubing making machine experience is advantageousAttend to machine breakdowns & ensure that maintenance is carried out with minimal breakdownsConducted & coordinated all preventative maintenance of machinery & equipment on the shop floorEnsure that adequate training & safety protocols are maintainedPlease send your CV to *****@*****.co.za.
