Requirements: Trade with at least 3 years’ experience in this environment is essential Maintain and service all equipment to ensure maximum availability Ensure that the electrical distribution panel is locked after completion of any work and prior to leave the site Parts needed – follow up and installation Perform shift work Perform shut down work when required Responsible for dedicated areas in the plant Alter machines to improve performance and limit downtime Commission new electrical installations or alterations, ensuring that it is operational and may be used safely Diagnose the cause of breakdowns
