Lichtenburg: PreOwned Vehicle Sales Manager

The responsibilities for this position include: Sales Strategy & Performance Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual targets. Monitor sales team performance and implement improvements as needed. Set pricing strategies and promotional plans for used inventory. Analyze sales metrics, customer trends, and market data. Inventory Management Source and procure quality pre-owned vehicles through trade-ins, auctions, or wholesale. Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure diversity in vehicle makes, models, and price points. Oversee vehicle reconditioning and readiness for display/sale. Track aging inventory and implement strategies to move older stock. Customer Experience & Relationship Management Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and address complaints effectively. Train the sales team in customer service and follow-up best practices. Oversee customer retention initiatives such as loyalty programs or referral incentives. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, motivate, and manage the pre-owned sales team. Set individual and team goals and provide coaching and performance feedback. Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions. Compliance & Documentation Ensure all used vehicle sales transactions meet regulatory and company policy requirements. Maintain accurate records of sales, financing, trade-ins, and inventory. Oversee vehicle appraisals and trade-in evaluations. Marketing & Promotions Coordinate with marketing to promote pre-owned vehicle inventory through online platforms, social media, and traditional advertising. Plan and execute sales events or seasonal promotions. Ensure high-quality vehicle listings (photos, descriptions, prices) on dealership and third-party websites
