The lodge situated within the Greater Kruger in Limpopo accommodates a maximum of 18 guests and operates in a remote bush environment. This role is best suited to hands-on, organised individuals with a strong background in safari lodge operations and team leadership.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Oversee all guest interactions and ensure consistently high levels of service and hospitality
• Manage arrivals, departures, special requests, and guest feedback
• Act as ambassadors for the lodge, delivering warm, professional hosting at all times
• Full oversight of daily lodge operations and activity planning
• Safari guide and activity scheduling
• Staff leave planning and roster management
• Purchasing and supplier coordination
• Bar stock control and sales oversight
• Month-end reporting and basic financial administration
• Lead, supervise, and motivate all lodge departments including guiding, housekeeping, kitchen, front-of-house, and maintenance
• Ensure staff performance, discipline, and morale are maintained
• Foster a collaborative, respectful, and service-driven team culture
• Ensure smooth F&B operations, service standards, and stock control
• Maintain cost awareness and quality consistency

Core Criteria:

• Minimum of 5 years’ proven lodge management experience
• Strong organisational, planning, and leadership skills
• Solid understanding of food & beverage operations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Hands-on, solutions-focused approach
• Sober habits
• Willing and able to live on site in a remote bush environment
• No children or pets
