About the Role
We are seeking a management couple to oversee the day-to-day operations of our luxury 5-star game lodge in Limpopo, South Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding guests through unforgettable safari experiences, managing logistics, and embodying our lodge’s ethos of warm, attentive service in a wilderness setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the lodge
- Guide guests on safari excursions
- Ensure seamless guest experiences across food & beverage, hosting, admin, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Welcome guests and manage logistics to deliver authentic safari experiences
Requirements
- 3–5 years in luxury 5-star game lodges
- Tertiary qualification in hospitality or tourism
- Proven ability to manage remote, luxury lodges with high service standards
- Passionate about hospitality and inspiring teams to exceed expectations
- Hands-on, adaptable, and committed to delivering authentic safari experiences
Role 1: Nature Guide
- Must be a qualified Nature Guide with current Trails Guide certification
- Backup or Lead Trails Guide status is a strong advantage
- Experience in maintenance, construction, or project management is beneficial
Role 2: Lodge Administrator
- Must have experience in lodge administration
- Assist with F&B, hosting, and housekeeping
- Chef qualifications or guiding experience are a bonus, but admin is the core focus
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in hospitality or tourism
Salary & Benefits
R15,000–R40,000 per person/month (gross, negotiable based on experience)
Food Allowance: R1,500 per person/month (in addition to salary)
Uniform provided
