Client-Centric Practice Development As a Financial Planner, you will help clients achieve their lifestyle and financial goals through holistic advice, relationship building, and ongoing plan reviewsall within a business that supports you with a structured process, regulatory compliance, and potential support staff. 📌 Position Overview Title: Financial Planner Industry: Financial Services Location: National (Training in Secunda for 69 months) Salary: R10,000 R25,000 CTC per month, based on qualifications and experience Plus: Lucrative commission as per above Employment Type: Permanent 🧭 Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth financial needs analyses Offer holistic financial planning tailored to individual clients Submit and issue new business Conduct regular reviews and plan updates Build client base through prospecting & referrals Ensure full regulatory and FAIS compliance 👤 Ideal Candidate Profile Has completed the supervision period for required Class of Business categories Long-Term Insurance: Subcategory B1 – Risk policies excluding investment (e.g. life cover, disability) Long-Term Insurance: Subcategory B2 – Investment policies with no significant risk benefits – Retail Pension Benefits – Pension products offered to retail clients (e.g. preservation funds, retirement annuities) Holds a recognised qualification (120 credits minimum) RE5 certified Beneficial Qualifications: Long-Term Insurance: Subcategory A – Assistance policies (e.g. funeral policies) Long-Term Insurance: Subcategory B1-A – Risk policies with simplified underwriting Pension Fund Benefits (excluding retail) – Institutional retirement fund advice or administration Short-Term Insurance: Personal Lines – Insurance products for individuals (e.g. car, home) Short-Term Insurance: Commercial Lines – Insurance for businesses (e.g. business property, fleet) Friendly Society Benefits – Products provided by friendly societies (mainly funeral cover and minor health benefits) Experience conducting FNAs and providing tailored financial solutions Strong interpersonal skills, ethical judgement, and business acumen 🧠Preferred Competencies Customer focus Entrepreneurial & commercial thinking Teamwork and relationship-building High resilience under pressure Analytical problem solving Persuasive communication 🚀 Are You a Fit?
