Job Summary
– Compiling periodic breakdown reports
– Maintenance and repair of Refrigeration Compressors
– Maintenance and repair of the heat exchangers
– Monitoring and maintenance and repair of Air Compressors
– Responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the condensers and the water softener system
– Responsible for all the valve stations on the plant
– Liaise with Foreman on prevention of reoccurrence of breakdowns
– Liaise with Maintenance Planner to ensure availability of critical spares
– Attend to breakdown timeously .
– Analyse and ascertain the root-cause-analysis of breakdowns
– Job cards input correctly submitted
– Attend to job cards submitted for the required work.
– Manage the critical spares requirements for all equipment
– Assess machinery & equipment break down and required spares
– Responsible to operate the machine according to SOPs and Health and safety procedures
– Assemble, install and/or repair relevant machinery
The successful candidate will report directly to the Refrigeration Foreman at Maintenance Department
