A well-established mining operation in Marble Hall is seeking a Quarry Pit Supervisor with a strong personality and proven leadership skills. This role involves overseeing pit operations to ensure smooth production and efficient material handling.
Key
Responsibilities:
1. Pit Operations Oversight:
- Supervise and coordinate daily quarry pit activities to ensure optimal output.
- Monitor and manage the loading process, ensuring the correct amount and type of product is loaded to maintain continuous production.
- Identify and address operational inefficiencies to minimize production downtime.
2. Load and Product Management:
- Ensure accurate and timely loading of materials to meet production requirements.
- Verify that the correct product types are delivered to the crushing plant, reducing disruptions.
3. Leadership and Compliance:
- Provide clear direction and guidance to pit staff to ensure effective teamwork.
- Enforce compliance with safety standards, operational protocols, and production targets.
- Maintain a disciplined and professional work environment.
Qualifications and
Requirements:
- Competent A certification is mandatory.
- Experience in a similar role within the quarrying or mining industry is highly advantageous.
