About the Role
G-Core Capital is seeking an experienced Millwright to join our team in Middelburg. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and electrical inspection, repairs, and maintenance of equipment, as well as assisting with various tasks such as fault finding on electrical circuits and maintaining tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical inspection in designated areas as per pragma blue cards
- Repairs and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical equipment
- Fault finding on electrical circuits
- Electrical installations as approved by the Engineering Foreman
- Assisting Boilermakers and Fitters as required
- Maintaining tools including proper operation and cleanliness
- Carrying out planned maintenance operations as per job cards
Requirements
- Millwright Trade tested
- 4 – 5 years’ experience in production in the manufacturing sector
- 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position
- Min 3 years technical experience – PLC’s, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics
- Computer Literacy: MS Office
- Driver license and own transport
