The envisaged candidate will have the following competencies: Grade 12. National Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent. Thorough knowledge of relevant local safety, security and environmental legislation: OHSACT COID ACT l Key Performance Areas: Ensuring that processes required for the Quality Management System are established, implemented and maintained. Ensuring that processes required for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System are established, implemented and maintained. Carry out internal Quality audits & SHE self-assessments. Follow-up on non-conformities (NCRs). Ensure follow-up on action plans after audit findings Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, initiate corrective measures and ensure follow-up on action plans. Participate in the review of the enviromental plan. Inspecting workplaces, investigating accidents, causes of ill-health and complintants. Inspecting workplaces to enforce safety regulations. Examining ways to improve health and safety standards. Performing risk assessments on critical tasks. Further info will be available to applicants who are successfully chosen for an interview
