Job Summary
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent (NQF Level 4).
- Post-matric qualification advantageous.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in tender administration, bid coordination, or procurement compliance, preferably within SOEs, parastatals, or the private sector.
- Strong knowledge of PFMA, MFMA, PPPFA, and National Treasury procurement regulations.
- Proven track record of managing the full tender lifecycle.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end tender and RFP process, including attending briefing sessions and coordinating submissions.
- Compile and quality-check bid documents in line with PFMA, MFMA, PPPFA, and National Treasury regulations.
- Ensure all statutory and compliance documentation (CSD registration, SBD forms, B-BBEE certification, tax compliance, etc.) is up to date.
- Manage vendor applications and portal registrations for new opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, technical, operations) to compile professional and compliant proposals.
- Maintain a comprehensive bid tracker and report on progress, outcomes, and lessons learned.
- Support continuous improvement of bid processes and templates.
