Midrand: Brand Sales Assistant

QUALIFICATIONS ▪ A Matric Certificate (Grade 12) ▪ A tertiary qualification in Sales and/or Marketing or studying towards one will be an advantage ▪ Microsoft Office knowledge REQUIREMENTS ▪ A valid drivers license (Mandatory) ▪ Must reside in Midrand/Centurion/Pretoria ▪ Willing to travel SKILLS & EXPERIENCE ▪ Previous experience working in a sales environment ▪ Power tool & accessory product knowledge is an advantage ▪ Critical thinker and problem-solving skills ▪ Team player ▪ Good time-management skills ▪ Great interpersonal and excellent communication skills ▪ Presentation skills ▪ Ability to affectively plan your day and prioritize your duties A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RETAIL BRAND SALES ASSISTANT ▪ STORE VISITS: Regularly visit stores to assess the presentation and stock levels of the products. Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and staff. Identify opportunities for brand promotion and visibility enhancement. ▪ STAND BUILDING: Coordinate and execute the construction of eye-catching stands in retail environments. Ensure brand standards are maintained in all visual merchandising efforts. Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create compelling displays that attract customers. ▪ PRODUCT RANGES: Assist in managing and completing product ranges in stores. Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure the timely availability of products. Analyze store sales and inventory data to recommend adjustments in product offerings. ▪ PRODUCT TRAINING: Conduct product training sessions with customers and store staff to enhance product knowledge. Develop training materials and presentations in collaboration with the product development team. Gather feedback from training sessions to improve future training programs and product development. ▪ STOCK CONTROL: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and implementing stock control measures. Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability and timely delivery to stores. Analyze stock movement reports to identify trends and address potential stock-related issues
