Duties:
- Lead and manage the financial team.
- Oversee all financial activities, ensuring alignment with the Cluster’s strategic goals and targets.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including shareholders, bankers, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Devise and implement strategies for financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Maintain and improve finance systems, procedures, and processes to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and financial obligations, with particular attention to financial aspects.
- Deliver key financial reports within deadlines, including Group Financial Reports, Year-End Financials, Internal Audit Information, Tax Submissions, Risk Reports, and Sustainability Reports.
- Drive tax compliance for the Cluster, including VAT, PAYE, ETI, and Company Tax.
- Fulfil fiduciary duties with the utmost integrity and professionalism.
 
Job Experience & Skills Required:
 
Qualifications: 
 
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom
- BCom Honours / CTA
- CA(SA) / CIMA / MBA
 
Experience:
 
- Completed SAICA Articles
- 10 / 15 years experience in a senior management role
- Extensive experience across all aspects of financial management, including strategy implementation and financial reporting.
- Previous experience as a director of an organisation.
 
Skills & Competencies:
 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in due diligence and acquisitions (advantageous).
- Strong time management, administrative skills, and the ability to deliver under pressure.
- Proven experience in team leadership and achieving deadlines
