Your Key Responsibilities

1. Generator Power Plant Design & RFQ Participation

As The Customer:

• Collaborate with design teams to develop innovative EPC frameworks.
• Craft and submit comprehensive RFQ packages to prospective bidders.
• Evaluate RFQ responses using a techno-commercial matrix to recommend top bidders.

As The Bidder:

• Assess incoming RFQ packages and craft creative technical solutions.
• Develop competitive costing strategies for bid responses.
• Prepare robust techno-commercial proposals to secure customer projects.

2. Project Management & Site Execution

• Lead power generation EPC projects from planning to delivery.
• Manage resources effectively – manpower, equipment, budgets, and timelines.
• Oversee quality and compliance in alignment with SHEQ and international standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, HAZOP studies, and develop safety files for site activities.
• Utilize MS Project to plan and execute project schedules.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of power systems, including Genset Controllers, MV/LV switchgear, and synchronization solutions.
• Expertise with generator bidding processes and diesel electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and financial acumen.
• Proficiency in MS Project and regulatory standards (SANS, IEC, OHS Act).

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
• PMP Certification is a plus!

Bonus Points:

• Hands-on experience in electrical wiring rules and project costing.
• A proven track record of successful EPC project delivery.
