About the Role
Takora is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Supervisor to join our team in Midrand. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical installation teams and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct fault finding and repairs on electrical systems.
- Develop and implement panel wiring designs.
- Collaborate with engineers to design and commission MCCs (Motor Control Centres).
- Utilize Computer-Aided Design Systems and Tools for project planning and execution.
- Set up and commission Soft Starters and Drives.
- Maintain knowledge of electrical equipment, tools, and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with electrical hazards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- N4-N6 Electrical Engineering Certificate
- 3 Phase Wireman’s License (IE)
- 5–8 years in electrical installations within the Electrical, Engineering, or Construction environment
- Experience in a supervisory or team lead role
- Knowledge of Fault Finding & Repairs
- Experience in Panel Wiring
- Knowledge of Electrical systems, especially MCC’s
- Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design Systems and Tools
- Knowledge of Soft Starters and Drives setup and commissioning
- Knowledge of electrical equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical hazards and Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license
