Job Summary
Responsibilities:
– Track and record shipments, including updating clients on truck status- Provide real-time information on truck locations and cargo status- Coordinate with transportation providers to resolve any logistical issues- Assist with documentation and regulatory compliance, including applying for necessary permits and inspections- Maintain accurate records and reports, including shipment tracking, inventory management, and compliance documentation- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations
Requirements:
– Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field- Preferably a recent graduate- Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation management- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel- Ability to compile and analyse reports and data- Experience in Logistics/Supply Chain field(preferred not required)
