About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Midrand, South Africa. As a key member of our sales leadership, you will be responsible for driving regional and divisional sales objectives, developing tactical plans, and building sustainable customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritise effectively and in accordance with independent and corporate objectives
- Meet competitive market share evolution expenses in line with budget/revised forecast
- Achieve customer targets in all key areas
- Build sustainable customer loyalty
- Monitor and analyse market share trajectory
- Prepare and present field sales reports timeously
- Develop tactical plans from available data
- Attract, retain, and develop key talent
- Motivate team members to achieve success and operate efficiently
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing and/or a medical discipline (advantageous)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in independent and corporate pharmacy
- Thorough knowledge of the OTC business (Schedule 02) (firm understanding required)
- Firm understanding of the Marketing Code of Conduct
- Proven sales record
- Thorough knowledge of the South African pharmaceutical industry
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Business savvy
