About the Role

Placement Point, a well-established company based in Midrand, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join their team. As a key member of the sales support team, you will provide administrative support to internal and external sales representatives, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to internal/external sales representatives
  • Assist with quotation confirmations as and when required
  • Assist with confirming client deliveries with security as and when required
  • Prepare, organize, and store information in paper and digital form
  • Scan and upload documents, for loads received, on Laserfiche
  • Compile destruction certificates for treated loads
  • Check data accuracy in quotations, sales orders, and other supporting documents
  • File of supporting documents and GRNs received from the stores department
  • Make the necessary corrections and amendments to client documentation (Destruction Certificates, Sales Orders, etc.)
  • Prepare requisitions for supplier quotes and invoices
  • Uphold the company image and always retain confidentiality
  • Perform other general administrative duties required of this position not currently listed
  • Manage client SLAs (service level agreements/contracts)

Requirements

  • 1 year’s experience in administration
  • Must have Microsoft proficiency, able to use a computer and the main software packages competently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be thorough and pay attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of emails and spreadsheets
  • Highly organized and flexible
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be able to work well on your own or part of a team
