About the Role
GMI Advisory is seeking an experienced SAP Developer or ERP Specialist to join our team in Midrand. As an expert in ERP-driven procure to pay (P2P) processes, you will play a crucial role in setting up and implementing P2P processes in major ERPs such as SAP/Oracle. You will collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineers to understand data needs and provide key insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and represent key insights in a meaningful way
- Build data pipelines and reporting solutions using SQL, low-code environments, and reporting tools
- Analyze data and processes in-depth to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support business decisions
- Troubleshoot development issues and provide technical support to clients
- Manage delivery of services against agreed SLAs and manage escalations both internally and externally
- Provide consulting services on new implementations and existing support projects
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
Requirements
- 2-4 years practical experience in setting up P2P processes in major ERPs (e.g. SAP/Oracle)
- Data knowledge around AP/P2P
- Analytical mindset and affinity to big data
- Collaborative working style with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineers
- Proven analytical skills using SQL
Qualifications
- Experience in AP data reporting/reconciliation
- Technology and programming knowledge (beneficial but not required)
- Interaction with AI engines (optional)
