Job Description
Job Purpose
Administrates and co-ordinates day-to-day activities of the bid office and to provides support to tender preparation and submissions associated bid documentation. Responsible for quality proposal/Bids documents and responding to inbound leads, in order to allow the business to respond more promptly to potential customers.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12.
- National Diploma in Marketing Management,Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management)
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Advantage)
- Additional certifications/professional registration (e.g. tendering, procurement, supply chain, APMP)-(Advantage)
Required Experience
- 7-10 Years Experience working in Admin with complex tenders & Large Volume of Paperwork
- 7 Years Administration of New Bid/Tenders (Start to Finish)
- Analyzing the Tender Evaluation Criteria and Compliance.
- Experience within the electrical,engineering or construction industry
Required Knowledge
- Excellent writing and proof-reading skills with an eye for detail
- Relevant software application (MS Office Suite)
- Legible/Neat Handwriting
- Basic electrical engineering principles
- Understanding of the end-to-end bid process,
- Strong document control and versioning knowledge

- Excellent verbal, written communication skills, telephone and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy including developed skills on (MS Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)

- Ability to manage submission schedules, deadlines, and bid calendars
