About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PLANT MANAGER (MANUFACTURING / PRODUCTION) to join our team in Modimolle, Limpopo. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational activities of the factory and site on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the operational activities of the factory and site
- Ensure that all company requirements on HR, quality, safety, risk, environment, administration, logistics, and production are met within the production environment
- Comply with health, safety, and risk regulations
- Implement environmental sustainability initiatives
- Provide leadership and human resources management support to the team
- Manage quality and laboratory processes
- Administer finance and administration functions
- Coordinate procurement and inventory activities
- Lead operations management and business intelligence efforts
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in production or engineering (through a Technikon or University)
- English / Zulu speaking person
- Valid Code 08 drivers license / own reliable vehicle
- Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet)
- 2-5 years experience in a similar position
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in production or engineering
