About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to join our team in the Waterberg region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all lodge departments, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day lodge operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation and health & safety regulations
- Develop and implement HR procedures to promote fair labour practices
- Lead a team of staff, motivating and inspiring them to deliver exceptional service
- Prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
- Strong operational knowledge across all lodge departments
- Sound understanding of labour legislation in South Africa
- In-depth knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards within the hospitality industry
- Solid understanding of fair labour practices and HR procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and project management capabilities
