About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco). As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily production process and ensure optimal output
- Manage mine health and safety to prevent accidents and injuries
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve production targets
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve business-related issues
- Implement project management techniques to drive successful outcomes
Requirements
- BSc Mining Engineering or BTech Mining Engineering, related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Blasting Certificate
- Mine Manager’s certificate of competence (MMCC)
- Medically fit as per Occupational Medical requirements
- Experience as Mine Health and Safety Act Reg 2.6.1 Appointee
- Experience in Massive Mining Methods
