Montagu: Financial Associate/Payroll Data Capturer

Dream Hotels & Resorts is renowned for its top-notch hospitality and natural hot springs, which bubble to the surface at 43 degrees. These mineral-rich waters, originating from Cogman’s Kloof, flow through our nine pools and continue to lure in visitors looking to soak away stress and soothe their aches and ailments. As a Financial Associate/Payroll Data Capturer, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for accurate financial data capturing, daily reconciliation of resort takings, and supporting the HR department with payroll data capturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and maintain accurate financial data within the accounting system
• Perform daily reconciliation of the resorts takings, ensuring all revenue is correctly recorded and supported
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to daily takings and financial reports
• Prepare and complete monthly and weekly cashbook and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare and complete monthly and weekly petty cash reconciliations
• Identify and raise monthly accruals for invoices not yet received

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
• Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal departments
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
• Experience with accounting and/or property management systems
• Basic payroll processing or payroll data capturing experience will be advantageous
