Job Summary
Remuneration:
R15k – R20k
Key
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Manage and oversee subcontractors and laborers.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members.
- Monitor and control material usage and wastage.
- Handle on-site problem-solving and decision-making.
- Keep detailed records of daily site activities, including work progress, delays, and any issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in residential construction or a related field.
- Basic understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
- Valid driver`s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a site foreman or in a supervisory role.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or related fields
