About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse with Complete Healthcare Services, you will work on a one-to-one basis with patients in their homes or facilities, providing high-quality care and support to individuals with diverse needs. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with registered nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing basic care, including washing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and supporting patients with mobility and toileting needs.
- Administering medications under the supervision of a registered nurse or family member.
- Documenting patients’ conditions and progress, as well as monitoring vital signs and recording changes.
- Managing feeds for tracheostomy babies using a feeding pump.
- Observing patient condition changes and reporting in daily reports.
- Assessing sleep routines and discussing care plans with registered nurses to adjust accordingly.
- Writing reports in good English.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of treatment plans set out by other team members (doctor, NSM, or physiotherapist) to ensure tasks are completed appropriately.
- Good communication skills with supervisors, colleagues, patients, and family members.
- Knowledge of dealing with emergency situations in patient homes.
- Knowledge of Geriatric Care, Paediatric Care, Dementia Care, Post Stroke Care, Ventilation Care.
- Good knowledge of Catheter care (indwelling, supra pubic, intermittent).
- Knowledge of prevention of pressure sores in bedridden patients.
- Good knowledge of trachea care or experience working with tracheostomy patients and observing.
- Good knowledge of suctioning trachea patients.
- Prevention of infection in all patients.
